1. What fiction book (or books) would you nominate to be the best new book published in 2007?
(Older books that you read for the first time in 2007 don’t count.)
Demon by Tosca Lee
Sushi for One by Camy Tang
The Sovereign's Daughter by Warren Downs
Try Dying by James Scott Bell
Diva NashVegas by Rachel Hauck
A Sister's Secret by Wanda Brunstetter
The Divine Appointment by Jerome Teel
Miss Match by Erynn Mangum

2. What non-fiction book (or books) would you nominate to be the best new book published in 2007?
(Older books that you read for the first time in 2007 don’t count.)
Persian Girls by Nahid Rachlin
Mosaic by Amy Grant

3. And, do “best of” lists influence your reading?
Not really. I have usually read many of them, and will consider the others for the following year, but I do not normally make a point of going out and searching for books just because they are on a particular year.

***This was a TOUGH one! There have been some amazing books published this year, and it was very hard to narrow it down, and there are so many more that could have been included!***
