February Pay It Forward Giveaway: Sisters, Ink

A while back, Overwhelmed With Joy launched her Pay It Forward book exchange idea and it is so exciting the interest this exchange has generated thus far. There have been many bloggers hosting their own PIF Book Exchange giveaways and there are more to come! Thank you everyone! Please be sure to visit Overwhelmed with Joy to see what the other ladies are giving away as well.

Today I'm hosting my February Pay It Forward book giveaway!

Let me just recap the Pay It Forward Book Exchange concept for those who might have missed it.

Most all of us love to read and get “new-to-us” books, right? And if you’re anything like me, you love winning things (what a rush), not to mention getting fun stuff in the mail! So here’s what this book exchange is all about:

1) Once a month I'll pick a book to give away to one lucky reader (you don’t have to have a blog to enter). It may be a book that I’ve purchased new or used, or it may be a book that someone has shared with me that I really like. It’ll probably be a paperback, just to make things easier, but no guarantees.

2) Details on how you can enter to win will be listed below.

3) If you’re the lucky winner of the book giveaway I ask that you, in turn, host a drawing to give that book away for free to one of your readers, after you’ve had a chance to read it (let’s say, within a month after you’ve received the book). If you mail the book out using the media/book rate that the post office offers it’s pretty inexpensive. If you fall in love with the book and want to keep it, I ask that you purchase a new (or used) copy and pay that forward so that someone else can have the opportunity to love it as well. Or, just pay forward another book of your choice. I just want to keep the process going so that everyone can share the joy of books!

4) If you’re really motivated and want to host your own “Pay It Forward” giveaway at any time, feel free to grab the button above to use on your own blog. Just let me and Overwhelmed With Joy know so we can both publish a post on my blog plugging your giveaway and directing our readers your way!

So there you have it, my Pay It Forward Book Exchange, designed to encourage people to read, to share good books, to possibly get you out of your reading comfort zone, and to get fun stuff in the mail instead of just bills! Enjoy:-)

Now the DETAILS:
This PIF will run from now through midnight CST Friday February 29, 2008. I am giving away a Brand New Copy of the newly released novel: Sisters, Ink by Rebeca Seitz!

If you would like to win a copy of, Sisters, Ink you aren't required to, but I would love if you would please post a link to my PIF on your blog (if you have one) so that your readers can enter to win as well...share the love:) Otherwise, leave me a comment with a way for me to contact you if you win. If you aren't comfortable leaving your email in the comments section, my email is listed on my profile page and you can send it to me that way. You may enter once per day!

Also, I do not mean this to be rude in any way, shape, or form, but after my latest incident in the Bloggy Giveaway here are some disclosures that I thought were common sense, but after encountering these issues 28 times in 6 giveaways, I have determined it would save a lot of time and trouble to just spell these things out:

1. You MUST provide a means of contact if you win, to be considered.

2. You MUST be willing to provide a mailing address for me to mail this item to you should you win. I will NOT send you junk mail, only this prize.

3. This item is NOT redeemable for cash. You are entering to win a book, and you will receive a book.

I'm not going to ask to be entered in your drawing because I have a stack of books to read and catch up on, but I have linked you in my February Pay It Forward Book Exchange post.

Thanks for participating by hosting your own giveaway. I do appreciate it! Check back next Saturday morning when I’ll draw and announce the winners of my giveaway!

(By the way, your PIF rules are pretty amusing, it only makes me wonder what you went through to drive you to post them!)

Do you really have winners who won't give you their mailing address? How are you supposed to send the book if you don't have their address?

Well, I will give you my address, and I'd LOVE TO WIN!
